Our Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Boulogne

2012 Pilgrimage

Saturday 16th June

Preacher Fr David Clues

Put the date in your diaries!

After Mass and procession of Our Lady,  there is time for a leisurely lunch - shopping at a hypermarket - or shopping in and around the old town and harbour.

Coaches park by the cathedral.

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Boulogne

We have been organising this pilgrimage since 1996 when we had a fleet of eight coaches who made the journey across to Boulogne. It began at the suggestion of the late Geoff Wright, who knew the Cathedral staff.

Since then we have made the pilgrimage annually at different times of the year to pray at our Lady’s feet, shop and lunch! We have now settled on the second Saturday in June for the pilgrimage.

We are most grateful for the warm welcome we always receive from the Cathedral staff who cannot do enough to help.

We hope you will all find / organise a coach and join us for what is a long but enjoyable day pilgrimage.
